Learn where your readers will stop reading–and why–and what to do about it. Working with others who are on the same path is the quickest way to improving your own work. It’s also way more fun!

From structural editing to line editing, from stylistic editing to proofreading, I edit for any genre across any medium.
When it comes to writing, smart people ask for help.
A good editor polishes your prose without changing your style or voice. She capitalizes on your strengths and minimizes your weaknesses, getting you the results you want much more quickly. Because first impressions count, whether it’s with an agent, a client, a publisher, or a professor.
A good coach listens to your needs and then offers guidance that’s tailored to your specific goals for your specific project.
In my work as an editor and writing coach, I help you move your writing to the next level, whether you’re writing nonfiction or writing stories.
As a professional editor and writing coach of over 10 years and a writer of over 20 years, I’ve worked with novelists, self-help authors, magazine article writers, international students, and children’s book authors to sharpen their focus and communicate their vision. And I’ve been on the other side of the editing table as well, having written for newspapers, fashion magazines, and even the Geosciences department at Texas A&M University. One of my short stories made it to the top 1% in a Glimmer Train short story contest.
I’m passionate about helping you make your writing stand out.
Ask for help. Because you’re moving forward.
Here’s a few of the books I’ve coached authors through and then edited, each author having gone on to publish their work with successful sales.
